WHO ARE WE?

We are a Non-Profit Organization for the advancement of Science, Education and Religion; dedicated to assisting anyone who may be in distress or affected by Alzheimer's disease and related dementias.

OUR MISSION

The mission of the Morning Star Society is to provide educational, informational, and supportive resources for individuals with Alzheimer's disease and related disorders and their caregivers. The Morning Star Society offers assistance through information and referral, counseling, health education, and crisis intervention. The Morning Star Society is a member of the national Alzheimer's Foundation of America, which unites several hundred grassroots organizations in nearly all 50 states that offer direct, "hands-on" services.

BECOMING A MEMBER

Membership is open to everyone with an interest in helping caregivers and persons affected by Alzheimer’s and related dementias.

NEWS & EVENTS

Social & Cultural Events in New York and Florida to reach into the Italian and other neglected Communities. Raise public awareness about Dementia and Alzheimer's disease, encourage early detection, diagnosis, planning and treatment; while promoting research efforts to find a cure and to improve the quality of care and related support services for individuals living with the disease. The founder/CEO Dr. Louis Miele, is a Certified Dementia Care Professional.
